A Better Birth 2nd Annual Potluck Picnic

We are inviting all the families who have gone through our prenatal classes, our moms groups or been our doula clients. We'd like to see how you are and admire your babies. Some have grown into preschoolers!
Please bring chairs or blankets for your family and one food dish with serving utensils to share with everyone. We will provide drinks, cutlery, cups and platesÊAND a big birthday cake to celebrate the births and birthdays of all the children who come.

Thanks To All Who Attended Our 1st Annual Potluck Picnic

Thanks to all those who attended. The weather couldn't have been better. We had a good turnout with about 46 people including babies. Lots of good food and great prizes. Congratulations to all our winners! The dads won the tug of war but we made them work for it!
For all of those who didn't make it, don't miss next year's event. We'll be welcoming a whole new group of babies and parents and then there will be all of your toddlers. Wow! What a difference a year will make.

Birth is a play based on over one hundred interviews Karen Brody conducted with mothers across America who gave birth between 2000-2004. It tells the true stories of 8 women painting a portrait of how low-risk, educated women are giving birth today.
